I recognize as a lifelong Charlestonian, neighborhoods in Charleston are each unique, their names familiar to the citizens, visitors and people who return home to our special city.

North Charleston, Edgewood, West Side, Downtown, East End, Oakridge/Greenbrier, Kanawha City, South Hills all boast positive attributes creating welcoming neighborhoods and communities, where people live, work and enjoy recreation.

From the banks of the Kanawha River on the West Side to the treetops of South Hills, the beauty we know as the Edgewood Historical District, to the sidewalks of Downtown, and the Capitol Lawn of the East End, the industry that drives North Charleston, to the farmlands of Oakridge and Greenbrier and over the bridge into Kanawha City, I will be a mayor for every neighborhood.
